Accessibility Statement
This statement applies to Lysander, provided by Haijahr Ltd. We want Lysander to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to making Lysander accessible, and we treat accessibility as part of how we design and build the product rather than an afterthought. We aim to meet recognised accessibility standards and to improve over time.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Lysander is partially conformant: most of the product meets the standard, but some areas are still being brought fully into line (see Known Limitations).
3. Measures We Take
- Semantic, structured HTML with logical headings and landmarks;
- Visible keyboard focus and full keyboard operability of interactive elements;
- Colour choices intended to meet AA contrast for body text and controls;
- Respecting the operating system's reduced-motion preference for animation;
- Descriptive labels and alternative text for meaningful non-text content;
- Responsive layouts that reflow down to small screens and support zoom.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain:
- Some data tables scroll horizontally on very small screens; the same information is available by scrolling.
- Uploaded documents (for example, files attached to a task) are the responsibility of the person who created them and may not themselves be fully accessible.
Where we become aware of an issue we work to fix it. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us using the details in Feedback.
5. Compatibility
Lysander is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers. It may not work reliably with browsers more than two major versions old.
6. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Lysander. If you find a barrier, or need information in a different format, please contact us and we will aim to respond within five working days:
7. Enforcement
If you contact us with a complaint and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in Great Britain, or the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI) in Northern Ireland.
